The PHP development team announces the immediate availability of PHP 5.6.40. This is a security release. Several security bugs have been fixed in this release. All PHP 5.6 users are encouraged to upgrade to this version.

For source downloads of PHP 5.6.40 please visit downloads page, Windows source and binaries can be found on windows.php.net/download/. The list of changes is recorded in the ChangeLog.

Please note that according to the PHP version support timelines, PHP 5.6.40 is the last scheduled release of PHP 5.6 branch. There may be additional release if the PHP development team discovers important security issues that warrant it, otherwise this release will be the final one in the PHP 5.6 branch. If your PHP installation is based on PHP 5.6, it may be a good time to start making the plans for the upgrade to PHP 7.1, PHP 7.2 or PHP 7.3.

i runn DA for years on 2 servers....
1 server for www 2nd server for email
this is the first time i have any issues with dns

i see this error when checkind dns

Looks like your nameservers do not agree on the SOA serial. Ths SOA records as reported by your nameservers:
84.22.113.69 -> 2019011105
46.19.34.196 -> 2019011106

Can anybody help me figrue this out?

Every time I execute ./build update custombuild downloads the newest mainline versions of nginx, but I need the latest stable version.
And off course the latest version is now installed (1.14.2)
This still happens after I emptied my custom_versions.txt
Does anyone knows what to change of fix so custombuild will only look for stable updates?
Any help will be appreciated!

reinstalled DA on vps twice to verify. also recompiled all php versions multiple times.

been a few months since ran a DA server but didn't the domains (in section where choose http folder private or linked area) used to have a selector for primary and secondary php versions?
php 1 and php 2 type of setup.
this install on vps has no second option, just once selector to choose versions.
could have swo used to have option of setting php1 and php2 for each domain then any websites used the php.ini needed.
tested this on all default skins including latest skin.

was there a change I missed or am I having actual issue?

Ofcourse this happens on Xmas day.
I did an update to include Easy Spam Fighter and switch to eximconf_release 4.5 (I think I came from 2.1) and was pleased with how few spam I was getting. In fact I am not getting any mail at all from exteal now.

Mail from any domain in my DirectAdmin setup is fine and instant, from outside I get nothing.
I can email to anywhere, so outgoing is fine.

I do not see any maillog errors, I do see a huge queue if I type exim -bpc (12000+)
I tried switching ESF, Blockcracking and SA off, but still no mail from exteal...

I PM you another testsite that is even more strict for pci and other compliance, very hard with a normal directadmin box and still communicating with the world to gat the 100% there
